SLEEP!!! (he's lazy, but we love him!)

                    With a heavy heart I must report that our beloved "Jackson" passed into Jesus' arms on Saturday, August 11th, 2007 here in Kentucky.  "Jack" lived a very loved and precious life of 21 years with me, and I am truly thankful to the Lord for the gift of this wonderful companion.  I have had (and been around) many pets in my life... if there ever was ever a better behaved animal, who was more universally loved by everyone who came in contact with him, and a more trusted and accepted part of an entire industry...I would find it hard to believe.  When was the last time you heard of a dog who came to the office with his owner (and slept pressed up against his masters' feet under the desk) for over 20 years?... who was liked by everyone who met him (even the NON-dog folks!)?... a dog who inspired even the garbage man to bring him treats?

Jackson, I celebrate your life ... the merciful Lord will heal my current sadness and heartbreak, but the memory of your life and our love for you will forever be a part of us all...  Amen.
